The pipe has a cooling agent channel (6) including a common separating wall for allowing a waste gas duct to exchange heat, where the common separating wall is designed as radially inner-lying separating wall of the cooling agent channel. The cooling agent channel lies against an external wall (4) of the waste gas duct, where cross section of the waste gas duct (2) extends over the inner-lying separating wall and outside width of a sheet metal (12) radially. The cross section of the waste gas duct is divided into radially inner and outer lying cross sections (14, 18).
