The method involves composing torsional vibration insulator by two rotors (11,12) non-rigidly coupled over a spring system (13). The operating condition of the torsional vibration insulator is determined, in which turning distortion increased or decreased due to torsional vibration insulator is present. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for a digital computer; (2) a controller for internal-combustion engine, particularly for a motor vehicle; and (3) a storage medium for a controller of internal-combustion engine.
