PURPOSE: A cap assembly is provided to minimize internal resistance since components are attached a positive temperature coefficient resistance layer to function as electrode layers. CONSTITUTION: A cap assembly(30) for a secondary battery includes: a cap-up(31) of electrically conductive metal material; a safety vent formed of electric conductive metal materials arranged at the lower part of the cap-up; and a positive temperature coefficient resistance layer which includes a conductive polymer composition having a positive temperature coefficient property and is arranged between the cap up and safety vent. |
