PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stress fuse which is installed on a structure or the like and prevents destruction of the structure or the like beforehand by being destroyed upon generation of an excess stress and can prevent impairment of function of the structure itself at its operation, and further, can be used under a high-temperature environment. SOLUTION: The stress fuse has a linearly weakened portion 3 formed at a part of the surface of a ceramic plate 2, and a conductor 4 is formed on the surface of the ceramic plate 2 so as to cross the weakened portion 3, and both end parts of the conductor 4 are formed as external connection terminals 5 through the weakened portion 3.
