PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which controls a scanning speed in accordance with distance interval between a recording head and a recording medium, controls discharge speed of an ink to be discharged from the recording head, or easily and suitably controls an impact position of the ink (a dot forming position) by, for example, adjusting discharge timing of the ink by a suitable test pattern. SOLUTION: The distance interval d between the recording head and the recording medium is detected by a position detection means 105 arranged at an end part of an eccentric shaft 102. A control means 106, based on a detected result, calculates the value of (10×v<SB>2</SB>)/(d×r) by adding other setting condition (ink discharge speed of the recording head v<SB>2</SB>[mm/s], and recording density r[dot/mm]), and controls the number of rotation of a motor 107, that is the scanning means of the recording head, so that the scanning speed v<SB>1</SB>of the recording head 100 satisfies the relation: v<SB>1</SB>≤(10×v<SB>2</SB>)/(d×r).
