PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure generated when a vehicle body is conveyed to a next process by conveying the vehicle body in an inspected state or a processed state to the next process. SOLUTION: This method relates to transferring of the vehicle body W from a carriage 10 of a floor conveyor 1 to a conveying hanger 20 of an overhead conveyor 2 or from the conveying hanger 20 of the overhead conveyor 2 to carriages (10, 30) of floor conveyors (1, 3). The method includes an oscillation step for inspecting the vehicle body W and performing other processing for the vehicle body W by oscillating the vehicle body W in a state of the vehicle body W supported by articulated robots 5 and 6, and a transfer step for transferring the vehicle body W to the conveying hanger 20 or the carriages (10, 30) in the state of the vehicle body W supported by the articulated robots 5 and 6.
