PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone device for improving design flexibility and operability of an operation unit. SOLUTION: In an extension telephone device including a master unit and a slave unit placeable at the placement section of the master unit, the slave unit includes a display unit for the master unit provided at a position that a user can view when the slave unit is placed at the placement section of the master unit, and receives display information generated by the master unit for displaying on a display unit of the master unit.
