Provided is a composition for the formation of a cured epoxy resin. At low temperatures, the composition is inhibited from curing and therefore is stable even in a one-pack state, while when subjected to heat treatment, the composition can be effectively cured. A composition for the formation of a cured epoxy resin, characterized by comprising (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a clathrate compound consisting of both a carboxylic acid derivative represented by general formula (I): R(COOH)n (I) and an imidazole compound represented by general formula (II), and (C) a tetrakisphenol compound represented by general formula (III).
