PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus on an oven, which can well suck coal dropped on the upper surface of the coke oven. SOLUTION: The whole area of a coal-charging port 3 is covered with a cover member 11 from the upper side, and air in the cover member 11 is sucked through suction ducts 117. Thereby, coal dropped on the periphery of the coal-charging port 3 can be sucked at once. By the suction mechanism, the coal dropped on the upper surface 2 of the coke oven 1 can well be sucked.
