OPTICAL PICKUP HEAD DEVICE, OPTICAL INFORMATION DEVICE, AND OPTICAL INFORMATION REPRODUCING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a variation of a TE signal amplitude when using an optical storage medium which has an error while producing a groove being a track of an optical storage medium and has the variation of the TE signal amplitude.

SOLUTION: An optical pickup head device uses a tracking error signal-generating means for generating a tracking error signal to control radiation of beams to desired tracks, and an optical sensing means has a plurality of light detection elements. A plurality of the beams radiate different positions in the direction orthogonal to the track, and the tracking error signal-generating means performs differentiating operations for signals outputted from the light detection elements to generate a push-pull signal, and manipulates a signal obtained from a plurality of the beams.
