<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproduction apparatus which can comfortably wake a user. <P>SOLUTION: Output of an audio signal is started three minutes before an alarm time, and the volume value of the audio signal is gradually increased through the three minutes, while a cutoff frequency of filter processing is increased to infinity through the three minutes. In this way, the user is waked up at first gently by a low sound wherein a harsh high sound area is cut off.
