PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a tubular building up body in a method for constructing a cast-in-place concrete pile, which can be easily attached to the tubular building up body such as a reinforcement cage positioned in a pile hole, and which can surely prevent eccentricity. SOLUTION: This spacer 10 is used for the tubular building up body 1 which is positioned in the pile hole in the method for constructing the cast-in-place concrete pile. The tubular building up body 1 has a holding bar 5, the lower end of which is detachably attached to its outer periphery, the upper end of which is supported by a supporting portion 8 provided on a ground portion and which holds the tubular building up body 1 in a predetermined height position in the pile hole; and the spacer 10 comprises a hanger 11 for being attached to an intermediate portion of the holding bar 5, and a spacer pipe 12 which is suspended by the hanger 11 and elongated in its axial direction along the outer periphery of the tubular building up body 1.
