PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed shaft cooling system of a machine tool capable of cooling a coil part which is a heating source of a liner motor, without overcooling a structure positioned in the vicinity of the liner motor. SOLUTION: This feed shaft cooling system includes a first coolant passage 17 arranged in the coil part 18 of the linear motor and making a coolant adjusted to the lower temperature than the machine body temperature flow, a second coolant passage 21 arranged around the coil part 18 of the linear motor and making a coolant adjusted to the substantially machine body temperature flow, and a coolant supply means for circulating by adjusting the temperature of the respective coolants supplied to the first coolant passage 17 and the second coolant passage 21.
