PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll bearing device hardly damaging an inner ring even if a roll bends. SOLUTION: A substantially annular convex surface 70 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the circumferentially dividable inner ring 2 fixed to a small diameter shaft of the pestle type roll, and an annular concave surface 68 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter shaft 11. In the axial cross section, the radius of curvature of the convex surface 70 is made smaller than that of the concave surface 68. The inner ring 2 is fixed to the small diameter shaft 11 so that the convex surface 70 of the inner ring 2 abuts on the concave surface 68 of the small diameter shaft 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
