A retrievable swellable seal (10) comprises a seal body (14) mounted on a tubular member (16) and formed of outer member (18) which, together with the tubular member (16) defines a cavity (20) including therein a pressure containing medium (22). One or both of the outer member (18) and pressure containing medium (22) comprises a swellable material. The cavity (20) is configurable to permit venting of pressure therefrom to assist in retrieval of the seal (10). |
