<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and apparatus for manufacturing Dy<SB>b</SB>Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0, 0.5>b>0) or Tb<SB>b</SB>Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0, 0.5>b>0) from a eutectic material consisting of Dy or Tb and Fe and a light rare earth element compound of Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0). <P>SOLUTION: The new method is provided for manufacturing Dy<SB>b</SB>Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0, 0.5>b>0) or general formula Tb<SB>b</SB>Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0, 0.5>b>0). The light rare earth compound sintered magnet expressed in Nd<SB>2-a</SB>Pr<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B<SB>1</SB>(2≥a≥0) is arranged near the eutectic material consists of Dy or Tb and Fe, which is processed under the temperature condition of 900 to 1,020°C, and fabrication is made without forming Dy or Tb films on the surface of the light rare earth element compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
