PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a summer pillow having a rigid body structure, whose hardness and height can be separately adjusted, which can be folded small when it is not used, and can be easily handled. SOLUTION: A Scott-Russell's approximate linear motion mechanism is formed, on the top surface of a base plate 1 at both right and left end parts viewed in a horizontal direction, by a support plate 3, a main plate 5, two shafts 2, 4, and a shaft 6 as the rotation center of the main plate 5 and the base plate 1 or a curvature center. Sides 8, 9 of a hook-and-loop fastener etc. are attached to the lower face of a bottom plate 10 pivotally attached to the lower end of the main plate 5 by the shaft 6 or a contact curved surface at the lower end of the main plate 5 and to the top face of the base plate 1 respectively so as to be freely fixable/releasable. One side 11 of the hook-and-loop fastener etc. is attached to at least one back face of a ridge 7 on the upper ends of the right and left main plates 5 and stretch cloth 13 at least to the one side of which the other side 12 of the hook-and-loop fastener etc. is attached, and which has high flexibility and sufficient tensile strength is stretched therebetween to form the summer pillow.
