<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide alkaline earth metal oxide-doped zirconia nanoparticles in a single nanometer order, having low acidity of the surface and no possibility of modifying a resin when the particles are incorporated into the resin, and having a sharp particle size distribution and high crystallinity, and to provide a method for producing the nanoparticles. <P>SOLUTION: The alkaline earth metal oxide-doped zirconia nanoparticles comprise zirconia including a solid solution of an alkaline earth metal oxide, and has an average particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 20 nm or less. The content ratio of the alkaline earth metal oxide is 5 mol% or more and 30 mol% or less with respect to the sum amount of the alkaline earth metal oxide and zirconia. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
