PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing polypropylene resin-based foam particles is provided to maintain the reduction of frictional noises by uniformly dispersing fatty acid amide on the surface of the particles. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing polypropylene resin-based foam particles includes the following: A polypropylene resin composition containing propylene polymer is extruded. The composition includes ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer. The extruded composition is cooled and cut to obtain polypropylene particles. The composition is mixed with fatty acid amide. A foaming agent is added to the mixture to obtain foam particles.
