A medical resector for oblating, cutting, or coagulating human or animal tissue includes a rotatable high-frequency electrode on the distal end of a shaft of the medical resector and an axle that runs from the proximal end to the distal end of the shaft and is mechanically coupled with the high-frequency electrode on the distal end.
