HERMETIC ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic electric compressor that reduces the vibration of a sealed container without thickening the board thickness of a steel plate for the sealed container, thereby suppressing a noise. SOLUTION: In the hermetic electric compressor, a compression mechanism compresses a working fluid through a drive shaft by the power of an electric motor wherein a rotor and a stator are sequentially disposed around the drive shaft. The sealed container includes three parts of a shell and an upper and lower covers and consists of a steel having an axial and circumferential Young's modulus in the shell of 220 GPa or more.
