PURPOSE: A terminal device and a method for editing a menu thereof are provided to confirm the menu configuration of an external terminal and reedit the menu configuration in order to provide the external terminal with the reedited menu. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit receives first menu map information, and a display unit(151) shows a menu structure of a mobile terminal. A user input unit(130) receives a user input inputted for editing the menu structure. A control unit(180) transfers second menu map information to the mobile terminal. An interface unit(170) is connected to a second terminal through a data cable in order to transfer all kinds of data of a first terminal to the second terminal.
