PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone system in which each slave unit can receive an individual message recorded in a master unit without requiring a complicated operation. SOLUTION: After a message addressed to each slave unit from a master unit is recorded in the master unit, the message is preliminarily transmitted to each slave unit to be stored in each slave unit. Also, with a storage of the message in the slave unit as a condition, the message reproduction is started in the slave unit with a hang-on as a trigger, and the message is cleared with a hang-up after the message reproduction as a trigger.
