PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a lithium ion battery capable of performing charge/discharge smoothly by employing a Li2NiPO4F-based positive electrode active material, and to provide an electrochemical measuring method of electrochemical behaviors such as charge/discharge characteristics of the Li2NiPO4F-based positive electrode active material.

SOLUTION: In the positive electrode for a lithium ion battery in which a Li2NiPO4F-based positive electrode active material is carried by a positive electrode current collector, the Li2NiPO4F-based positive electrode active material is implanted into the positive electrode current collector by a physical impact force.
