<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data according to priority in communication between stations. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication system which sets a plurality of virtual communication paths 8 in a physical communication path 7 established between a first communication device 1 and a second communication device 6 to transmit the data, the first communication device 1 includes: a setting part 2; a first storage part 3; a second storage part 4; and a transmission processing part 5. The setting part 2 sets information regarding the priority for every virtual communication path 8. The first storage part 3 stores the information set by the setting part 2. The second storage part 4 stores the data transferred from a transmission source based on the information stored in the first storage part 3.
