PURPOSE: A rotation device of a portable terminal is provided to prevent flow phenomena generated when rotating a display member. CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate(300) is fixed on one side of a main body member of a portable terminal. A rotating plate(400) is fixed to a display member of the portable terminal to be rotatable. An elastic rotation assembly(500) is respectively connected to both sides between the rotation plate and the fixing plate. The elastic rotation assembly elastically rotates the rotation plate by a fixed external force. A controlling unit controls a rotation angle of the rotation plate which is elastically rotated by the elastic rotation assembly.
