The invention relates to a novel nutraceutical composition piperine, piperlongumine, or a plant extract containing piperine, piperlongumine as active ingredient(s). The term "nutraceutical" as used herein denotes usefulness in nutritional, pharmaceutical and veterinary fields of application. The compositions are useful for improvement of cognitive functions and psycho-social status, such as learning, memory and alertness, psychotic stability and maintenance. |
