<p>A coffin comprising substantially pairs of mutually opposing side walls, a bottom and a lid. At least the side walls are made of a strong corrugated paper material having inwardly turned bottom flaps. The bottom flaps are fixed between an outer bottom plate and an inner bottom plate whose edges abut the inner surfaces of the side walls. Attachment means are provided for mounting foot supports on the under surface of the bottom plate, said attachment means extending through at least the outer bottom plate and the bottom flaps.</p> |
