PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat muffler which contributes to suppression of exhaust noise and vibration. SOLUTION: In this muffler 50B, the interval H1 between a first bottom 144 and a second bottom 147 is set to be smaller than the minimum width W1 of a sidewall 143 when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the first bottom 144.
