PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method of jamming and a laminate processing apparatus of a sheet using the same. SOLUTION: A laminate processing device for a sheet comprises a laminate channel, a laminate roller module, a distance sensor, a document sensor and a controlling tool where a moving distance of a document is detected by a distance sensor and jamming in a laminate processing apparatus of a sheet is determined by combining the detection of the document with the detection of the moving state of a document by a document sensor.
