PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a monkey wrench in that the monkey wrench has inconvenience of necessity of every removal of a nut retainer when it is tightened or loosened, in spite of its convenience of adjustability of a width of the nut retainer. SOLUTION: A monkey screwdriver is structured to have a shape in which a monkey wrench is attached to the tip of a screwdriver so that it can be rotated in the same way as rotation of a screwdriver. Generally, when the monkey wrench is used, in many cases, after a shank portion is half rotated, it is necessary to remove the nut retainer once from a nut and reset it to obtain an original shank angle; however, the monkey screwdriver needs no operation like this, thus attaining highly efficient rotation. It is highly efficient to rotate the monkey screwdriver at a rachet portion first, and, when it is loosened, to rotate it by putting fingers on a feather-like portion of a chuck of a rotation assist. In a case of lateral rotation, namely, in case that only tightening and loosening are possible in a conventional manner, the monkey screwdriver can be used as an ordinal monkey wrench by removing the screwdriver portion from the chuck of the rotation assist.
