The device (10) has a sliding bearing (12) with bearing surfaces (30, 32, 34) moved relative to each other for a crank shaft (18) and bearing parts (22, 24) moved relative to each other. Lubricant channels (36, 38) through which lubricant is supplied to the bearing for lubricating the bearing surfaces. Tempering areas (42, 44) of the lubricant channels are provided in a proximal area of one of the bearing surfaces. The tempering areas pass the lubricant before discharging the lubricant for lubricating the bearing surfaces from the lubricant channels to the bearing.
