PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cap a specimen of improved soil while ensuring measurement accuracy of strength test.SOLUTION: This aid 10 assumes a hollow-cylindrical shape having an opening 11 on one end thereof while having a flat inner bottom face 121, and is provided with slits 21 in its side face 13 from an end edge 111 of the opening 11 toward the bottom face 121. Cement paste 51 is previously put into the aid 10 so as to come up from the bottom face 121 to a prescribed height position. The specimen 50 of improved soil, having an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the aid 10, is inserted into the aid 10 so as to fast stick its lower end face 56 to the cement paste 51. A side face 13 of the aid 10 is fast stuck to an outside face 53 of the specimen 50 to cure the cement paste 51. |
