The arrangement (10) has a bearing element (12) comprising a retaining opening (16) that is formed for inserting a cam shaft (14), where a surface (18) of the cam shaft of the bearing element is provided with a bearing material (20) and runs perpendicular to an axis (A) of the cam shaft. Two attachment openings (24) are formed at the bearing element at a distance from the retaining opening. The surface of the cam shaft is placed at an axial end surface of the cam shaft.
