METHOD AND DEVICE FOR UPGRADING RIGHTS OBJECT THAT WAS STORED IN MEMORY CARD

PURPOSE: A method and a device for upgrading the rights stored in a memory card are provided to upgrade by directly searching the rights corresponding to the rights object identifier among rights stored in a SRM. CONSTITUTION: A controller of a terminal(30) checks whether rights information corresponds to a rights object identifier. The controller generates right objects based on rights information and an encryption key of the rights information. The connector of a terminal receives the rights information and the encryption key based on asset identifier from a memory card(50). The connector transmits identifier information of the rights object and identifier information of the updated rights object for installing the updated rights object. The connector receives an upgrade result of the rights object.
