PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for an automatic dishwasher which has excellent removability of stain, and also satisfies low foaming properties and low adhesion. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for an automatic dishwasher contains: a specified polyalkylene glycol (a); a polymer compound (b) having a monomer structural unit including one or more kinds selected from anhydrous structure from a carboxylic acid group and two carboxylic acid groups and 3 to 10C aliphatic hydrocarbon monomer structural unit by ≥80 mol% in total in the whole structural unit of the polymer; and one or more kinds (c) selected from an alkali agent and a sequestering agent.
