PURPOSE: A remote controller and a method for displaying the same are provided to display a control module on plural external devices connected to a TV. CONSTITUTION: If one of external devices is selected, a control unit displays a control menu of a selected external device on a display(S720,S730). If one control item is selected from the control menu, the control unit transmits to a TV a control command corresponding to the selected control item(S740,S750). A signal processor displays a received broadcasting signal(S760). If a TV menu tap is selected, the control unit displays a control menu for controlling the operation of the TV(S770,S780).
