FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be applied for prediction of neurologic complications in extremity elongation by distraction osteosynthesis. It involves low-intensity double sensory threshold electric stimuli testing of coetaneous receptor fields of the extremity segments both elongated, and distal with respect to elongated, innervated with a reference nerve, and collateral extremity symmetric receptor fields testing. When determining a bioelectric activity type of the somatosensory cortex, the score is assigned according to the developed type rating. A total asymmetry (AS) index is calculated as an arithmetical mean of the asymmetry coefficients of all pairs of the receptor fields that have been tested; an averaged score index (MB) is calculated, and a three-scale nomogram is plotted, including: a sensory balance (MB) scale, an asymmetry (AS) scale and risk (R) scale. There are three zones marked on the risk (R) scale; potential development of hypertraction and local compression-ischemic neuropathies is predicted by observing in zones I, II, III on the risk (R) scale. ^ EFFECT: method allows detecting the latent changes in the somatosensory analyser preceding the development of sensory and motor disorders. ^ 5 dwg |
