PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly performance of a retainer by improving moldability of the retainer to make the retainer have a shape free from warpage. SOLUTION: A connector includes: a connector housing which is formed by arranging, in a width direction, a plurality of cavities capable of inserting and extracting terminal metal fittings from the backward, and also formed so that a retainer attaching hole communicated with these respective cavities is opened on the side face; and a retainer which is inserted into the retainer attaching hole to lock the terminal metal fittings housed in the cavities. The retainer includes: a base part which forms a long shape in a width direction of the retainer attaching hole and can be housed against the retainer attaching hole; and locking parts which are aligned and installed at the base part in the width direction, and are locked to respective terminal metal fittings inserted into respective cavities.
