PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a pirn, contributing to miniaturizing a motor for revolving a bobbin. SOLUTION: A curve F in the graph shown in Fig.2(a) represents the change in the height position of a ring 181. A curve D shown in Fig.2(b) represents the change in the number of turns of a bobbin B (spindle) from the winding beginning time t1 to the winding ending time t4; wherein the bobbin B is revolved at a constant number of turns N from the winding beginning time t1 to a winding midway time t5, and thereafter the number of turns of the bobbin B is gradually decreased. A curve E shown in Fig.2(c) represents the change in the electric power consumed by the motor from the winding beginning time t1 to the winding ending time t4; wherein the electric power is gradually increased from the winding beginning time t1 to the winding midway time t5, and thereafter decreased.
