<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device tightly attaching a cover body to a case body with good workability without increasing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: The thickness dimension of an attaching piece 73 of a front end of the cover body 25 is made smaller than the gap between an engaging part 63b of an engaging piece 63 and each stopper 45. The distance between a tip 73c and an engaging hole 73e of the attaching piece 73 is made longer than the gap between the engaging part 63b of the engaging piece 63 and the stopper 45 and shorter than the separation dimension between a front end 63c of the engaging part 63b of the engaging piece 63 and the case body 31. After the attaching piece 73 is inserted into the gap between the engaging part 63b of the engaging piece 63 and the stopper 45, the rear end of the cover body 25 is turned, thereby the engaging part 63b of the engaging piece 63 engages with the edge of the engaging hole 73e, and the front end of the cover body 25 is engaged with the case body 21.
