SECURITY SYSTEM BASED ON A PROGRAM DATABASE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A security system based on a program database and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to make a judgment by providing easily understandable information to the user when a question is prompted for the allowance of a program. CONSTITUTION: A program database(170) stores a program identifier for recognizing a program and a security policy for recommending a program. An event detector(110) detects an event of a program which is executed in a computer. A program ID extractor(120) extracts an identifier of a program which generates the event. A security policy determination unit(130) searches a program database by considering the program identifier and the event as a searching condition in order to determine the security policy which is applicable to the event. An event processor(150) allows and blocks events according to the determination results.
