<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance control device which reflects a mode of swing of a performance operator until a waveform of physical amount which indicates behavior of the performance operator reaches a peak; and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 29 extracts newest fifteen acceleration data AS including a peak acceleration data AS-P from a ring buffer 26, and supplies an event data of "note-on" including a parameter of a velocity Vel according to a sum S of the fifteen acceleration data AS, to a sound source 40. Then, the CPU 29 selects an acceleration data AS, which is eight data former than the peak acceleration data AS-P in the fifteen acceleration data AS, as an attention acceleration data AS-A.
