PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibration control device for a railroad vehicle which is small in size and mountable to all vehicles without using air pressure, and excels in durability with low heat generation. SOLUTION: The vibration control device for the railroad vehicle is used for suppressing the vibration of a vehicle body 1 by an actuator. The actuator is an electric actuator 3 of a type for converting the rotating movement of an on-board rotary motor 3a into the linear movement by using a roller screw 3b. Because the vibration of the vehicle body is suppressed by the electric actuator of the type for converting the rotating movement of the on-board rotary motor into the linear movement by using the roller screw, the vibration control device for the railroad vehicle can perform a response at high speed with high accuracy, and can be small in size and high in durability.
