PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for reducing the road noise in a tire having circumferential sub grooves extending intermittently in the circumferential direction of a tread. SOLUTION: In a tire having in a tread a plurality of circumferential sub grooves extending intermittently in the circumferential direction of the tread in which adjacent grooves in the circumferential direction partially overlap in the width direction of the tread, the groove volume of an overlapped portion of the circumferential sub grooves is smaller than that of other portion than the overlapped portion.
