PURPOSE: A surface mounting meta-material antenna apparatus and a communicating apparatus using the same are provided to form a meta-material transmission line into a chip-antenna shape by including a dual-land structure. CONSTITUTION: A lamp pattern is formed into a dual structure, and the dual structure includes a first land(250a) and a second land(250b). The first land is in connection with the power supplying terminal(230) of a printed circuit board. The second land is in connection with the ground face of the printed circuit board. A matching circuit is added to the land patter in order to regulate resonance frequency. The matching circuit includes a first inductor(270a) and a second inductor(270b).
