PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of determination of defective combustion in an engine of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A combustion determination device (100) includes an engine torque detection means (23) for detecting engine torque, a resonance frequency specifying means (22) for specifying a spring constant range of a torsional damper (14) based on the detected engine torque and specifying a resonance frequency corresponding to the specified spring constant range, and a determination means (22) for determining: (i) whether a combustion failure occurs in one of a plurality of cylinders in a first period of time in which a crankshaft (101) rotates from 180 to 360 degrees after the ignition top dead center in the cylinder on condition that a combustion cycle frequency is lower than the resonance frequency; and (ii) whether a combustion failure occurs in the cylinder in a second period of time in which the crankshaft (101) rotates from 360 to 720 degrees after the ignition top dead center in the cylinder on condition that the combustion cycle frequency is higher than the resonance frequency.
