<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system allowing display and storage of data in a document file in accordance with lending or return of the document file without providing a dedicated function of detecting the lending or the return of the document file. <P>SOLUTION: A cabinet 2 that is a stored article management device generates an in-unlocking list described with an identifier of the document file stored in the cabinet 2 after succeeding in user authentication, and transmits instructions to make lending data be displayed on a display area A of a data display medium 37 of the document file 2 to the document file 2 specified in the in-unlocking list.
