PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform cooling and lubricating by reliably spraying a coolant on the cutting edge of a cutting insert used for cutting without loss of strength and rigidity of a tool body. SOLUTION: The insert detachable type cutting tool includes a cutting insert 8 seated on an insert mount seat 6 provided on the tool body 1 and detachably attached to the insert mount seat 6 by a clamp screw 7 screwed in the tool body 1. In the insert detachable type cutting tool, a supply hole 16 for receiving a coolant and a nozzle 17 for spraying the coolant on the cutting insert 8 are provided on the tool body 1. The supply hole 16 and the nozzle 17 are in communication with a screw-prepared hole 18 extending from a mounting screw hole 6c provided on the tool body 1 into which the clamp screw 7 is screwed.
