PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for poi search of linking road name are provided to search POI near to the road using POI related to the road. CONSTITUTION: A road POI searcher(110) searches a link POI which is related to the road name. A POI database(120) sets up the road name as a key, and stores the link POI. A link POI searcher(130) receives the road name, and searches the related POI with the road name as key from the POI database. The road POI searcher comprises a linear region generating unit and a linear region POI searching unit. |
